SHe apparently got one of the old forms of colloidal silver that was either chemically or other cruder means produced and it was also apparently in suspension with other things in the nose drops most likely stabilizer proteins whic makes agyria more likely. I checke my books on Colloidal Silver, and they go in to this in depth including one thing that does worry me. They say that gold CS is a sign that particle size is too large and could reslut in agyria. It should not be green, black or gold. At least according to one of my two books on making it.
I also states that it is the charging of the silver particles that is the key to it all. The older methods of making medicine of silver did not take this carging of particles into account. Clearly this woman is bitter with some cause to be sure. But her vehemance against alternative healers and what she calls "quacks" is unjustified, she got her problem through a mainstream doctor getting medicines from mainstream drug suppliesr, not alternative people. Me thinks she is being manipulated and or used or lacks resonable understanding of how things really are. She just got turned gray by the mainstream medical crowd, that is lucky lately they are killing thousands of people a month with FDA approved drugs.
