Dear list friends, A very good friend of my family is a Harvard trained infectious disease specialist. He is conventional, very skilled and sincere-spending hours at the hospital with his HIV patients going back to the hospital after tucking his three children off to bed. He has also been a great resource to us because a majority of his cases are post surgical infections, so he knows who the best andWORST surgeons are when we have had 2 broken hips, heart surgeries in our immediate family. We recently were discussing vaccines. He told me that if a child has had only part of a series of vaccines , it can be very dangerous. IE for the strange unlikelyhood that my child is exposed to measles, mumps rubella, it really could be a serious situation the body could not completely fight it off and it could be severe or worse linger. He said ALL OR NONE.
