Dear Tracy, Your hubby had a circumcision done just because the frenum was long and tight???!!! Good grief. All the docs need to do is snip the frenum, and that frees up the foreskin. (But no, if they`ve been cut, they think every other guy should be, too.) My middle son wasn`t cut, as the doc who delivered him was so rough on me. He stitched up my perineal tear before the shot took effect. (Now THAT was pain!!! Made the natural birth seem mild...Must be close to what babies suffer during circumcision.) My son has a short foreskin, and it opened by itself at age 2. By 3 he was able to keep it clean himself, and no further help from me. My 2 other sons were cut, more`s the pity...My grandson is not. I asked Jonathan and his wife to let him decide about his own body, and they did. Hey, I have a new grandbaby on the way!! Just found out about it tonight. I hope your son is OK, and that my suggestion may help him. Good luck to you both! Love, Marsha PS, Tell your mom-in-law that CS really helped my CFS!! Remind her that docs don`t know everything; in fact they know very little, in my opinion and experience...
