Dear Group,
I asked my homoeopathic doctor friend for her thoughts on hormones,
here's her reply.

"Yes some of the Homoeopathic hormones are beneficial, ONLY when the
bodies systems have broken down. There are different schools of
thought. By introducing certain hormones (homeo) bypassing the
initial area of production one can inadvertently close down that
particular site of production, causing the body to say "I don't need
to work any more = cease production altogether. When removing the
substitute hormone the body collapses.

When administrating these wonderful remedies one really has to know
the individuals body and mechanism. Usually blood test shows how this
is going.

We forget that our body will make hormones and also certain food have
the capacity to turn into hormones for us,,. For example a baby fed on
soy formula is ingesting the equivalent of 3 birth control pills of
oestrogen a day . Somewhat frightening is it not? So what are we doing
? Who is promoting such things? Is it going to be beneficial in the
long run? How is the long term use going to effect one?

I personally use the endocrine remedy for persons who have not
completed their milestone in the correct order, or in animals who
have been fed dry food, soy and lots of immunisations . The use of it
is short , sharp, just enough to kick start the economy into
re-establishing itself to function at its optimal level."

Regards,
Judith.
