Thanks Judith,

I wonder if Dr. Allen E. Banik has shares in water distillers ;-)

I don't know, my impressions of this book review and hence the book? is
that it rests on some very moot foundations.

The review points to a fundamental premise that the long lived and
healthy Hunza people drink pure glacial water, free from mineral
'contamination', whereas others have attributed the good health to the
'glacial soup', brimming with the complete spectrum of minerals...

Much is made of the inadequacies of all types of water filters, and
certainly some work better than others, but surely a well maintained
filter will perform as advertised and deliver good drinking water.

The purity of the water entering the stomach has little effect on the
purity of the water entering the plasma and fluids, does it? A water
molecule, which can pass into the body, is the same whether it came from
the tap or the still, and has the same cleansing power, surely? The
minerals found in tap water cannot enter the body unless ionised and
transported, and are therefore no longer 'inorganic', if they are
absorbed at all. However there is no doubt that water high in
inappropriate minerals should be passed over for something else, or
filtered.

One does not need to drink distilled water to gain great health
benefits, just drinking the appropriate amount of tap water works
wonders, as has been well documented.

There is no mention of energised water and so on.
Just a few thoughts.

Ivan.
