I read a report not long ago that indicated that hydrogen peroxide is very
effective on flesh eating bacteria.  Of course it cannot be inside, it must be
exposed, or contact cannot be made.  Unfortunately, hospitals will use
antibiotics which often have no effect instead of H2O2 which is both 
inexpensive,
effective and without any side effects.
