Hi-- http://silverdata.20m.com/nebulizers.html says humidifiers produce denser concentration than nebulizers, possibly too string for acute infections. Presumably, one could simply inhale at whatever distance from the humidifier yields the optimal concentration. Is the nebulizer therefore an alternative to the wastefulness of humidifiers, which necessarily produce overkill concentrations, or is the oxygen somehow synergistic with the silver protocol?
