When man exhibited free will he began to develop his ego which says that
"what I think I see, is correctly interpreted".
Ego development started with the idea "I can think for myself" as
suggested by the personage symbolized as the serpent DNA. The serpent did
not say 'how' or 'what' to think, just that we 'could' think. [and the
others became worried, then seeing that they couldn't turn off the now
discovered computer, decided to contain the problem with programming]
The program runs like this: If one already thinks they know everything,
they won't look further...so we'll tell them what WE want them to think
they know with a great deal of authority posturing, priesthoods and threats.

Nothing was removed, only passed over and atrophied from disuse in favor
of a sense of individual certainty attained by denying ignorance.
But the more certain you are that things 'are' as you 'see them', the less
likely they will be seen differently.
Now, what personage has continually aggressively suggested , even
insisted, that we see things "Their" way [or else] when it is the ego that
makes it possible to perceive things in a particular way by means of
deletion, denial and passing blame, thereby, making an end run around our
innate abilities to think for ourselves?

An inquisitive mind knows it knows nothing much.
