Dear CK,
Although someone mentioned, earlier, their personal protocol
involving H202, I would like to inform you of a simple protocol we found very
effective for cases similar to yours........several years ago.
While researching for various approaches to treat
mouth/gum infections, we came upon a combination approach that was an order of
magnitude more effective than was either protocol----separately. It involved
brushing ones teeth twice daily using the commercially available H202 (3.5%
drugstore/Walmart version) and a SOFT-BRISTLE toothbrush (it is very easy to
bruise additional tissue in these conditions). Place about one teaspoon of 3.5%
H202 in the mouth and thoroughly but gently brush the teeth for a full 60
seconds. Empty the foaming residue by expectorating completely. Do not rinse
the mouth. Next place approximately 2 teaspoons of 5 to 10 ppm Cs in the mouth
and gently brush the teeth and gumline for about 15 seconds. Hold the CS in the
mouth (gently swishing helps) for approximately 3 to 4 minutes and then swallow
the residue. Repeat this procedure three times daily for severe "trench-mouth"
type infections. We did not encounter a case which was non-responsive to this
treatment. No case, from 33 participant volunteers, failed to gain complete
control of this type of condition. A second group of volunteers achieved nearly
as effective a response through using sodium perborate in place of the hydrogen
peroxide.
It is also adviseable to brush as much of the
tongue-surface, as possible, with the H202, during this procedure.
The consensus opinion of our staff was that the H202
achieved a pronounced destruction/control of the anaerobic pathogens and the CS
established a formidable bacteriostatic environment.......which lasted for a
reasonable period of time.
Interestingly, we encountered two cases where the
volunteers were suffering from abcessing root-canaled
teeth-----who enjoyed a complete suppression of their infections, plus an
attendant tightening of the gumline about the affected teeth.
In no case was there failure to gain some
measureable control within 5 to 7 days, and total control in less than 30 days.
Although there is no guarantee you can achieve
similar success in your personal experiments, this protocol was completely
non-toxic....and quite effective in our researches.
                                                    Sincerely, Brooks Bradley.
