Hello silver-list,

I accidentally sent this to Ivan, wehn I meant to send it to the
  list. Ooops.

I personally don't agree. Didn't I read something on the list recently
(??) that stated bacteria that naturally lived in silver-rich soil had
some degree of resistance, but if taken out of the silver-rich
environment for a short time, it lost that resistance? I liken this to
the natural pesticides pyrethrin and rotenone. Insects will NOT
develop a resistance to the natural versions, but for some reason,
they WILL develop a resistance to the synthetic versions.

As for the article posted by Hanan, it struck me as a sort of
propaganda (by the writer, not Hanan). The way it stated "ranging
from beneficial clinical applications, to commercial and folk
practices that are of questionable value but little harm, to
snake-oil products and frauds found through the internet and health
food stores" really smells. It sounds quite similar to the
"supplements are worthless, and possibly dangerous, so we should
outlaw them for public sale...... BUT, we will PRESCRIBE them to
you!!" that keeps circulating here in the U.S.A. A case of "it's
only good for you if we prescribe it"!

While bacteria haven't had a problem developing resistance to
modern-day antibiotics, keep in mind that it has accomplished this in
what, 50 years or so? So, since silver has been on the earth since
the beginning of time, along with the bacteria, doesn't it make sense
that if the bacteria were going to develop a resistance, it would
have done so millions of years ago?

 Just my proverbial $0.02!
