Hello List,

Beverle, I feel that some of the issues you bring up are valid, and do
need addressed. Hopefully I can clarify some of these.

I have NO problem with Dr. Jon Brooks emailing out the information
that he did. I agree that many, many more people will now become
interested in colloidal silver, which is a good thing. What I DO have
a problem with is the way he writes his email letters. He seems to
speak as if he is the ultimate authority on the subject. And, believe
me, this has NOTHING to do with ego! It has to do with FACTS versus
disinformation. The thing that bothers me is that we will now have
20,000 new "experts" running around, espousing how colloidal silver
made by ANY method other than Dr. Jon's doesn't work. And that,
simply, is not true.

In his last emailing about colloidal silver, Dr. Jon tries to stress
that, no matter how well made, ALL colloidal silver just plain won't
work on a virus. BUT...... With the new "frankenstein" process that he
has found out about, IT WILL! He pretty much relegates all other CS to
the status of "snake oil". While I agree that many multi-level
marketers are selling trash, that certainly doesn't mean that all CS
available is trash! Oh, and before someone makes some type of
assumption, I don't sell CS, except to a few close friends. The fact
of the matter is that, if Dr. Jon wanted to find out a lot about
colloidal silver, the various ways to make it, the successes and
failures, etc., he only need find this list, which isn't that hard to
do.

As for the technical discussions that take place here from time to
time, I can assure you that no one is trying to show off their
intellect. There are some very valid, simple questions that as of yet
have no simple answers. We are all searching for the same result,
which is the truth. The "technical types" around here would LOVE to
establish a very simple, fast, and efficient protocol that would
produce the best colloidal silver possible. Something very simple and
easy to operate, that costs next to nothing. That is, for the most
part, what all of the technical discussion boils down to.

As for not knowing where to start, asking questions is ALWAYS the
place to start! Unlike Dr. Jon, who states "I haven't the time for
hand holding", you will find that everyone here, including the
"technical types", are more than willing to answer even the most basic
questions. Ole Bob goes so far as to even tell you Radio Shack part
numbers!

Until the day comes that the tests are all run and the questions all
answered, there will continue to be technical discussion. And most
members of this list will probably prefer to ignore those discussions.
That is fine. But, keep in mind that those discussions are not meant
to show greatness or belittle! They exist only to exchange ideas and
results. That is, after all, what this list is about, isn't it?

Best regards,
