Not the two types I've used -- the ultrasonic (Mabis mist) and compressed air (Omron). But it has to be a nebulizer, not a steam inhaler. A steam inhaler is essentially a distiller, and only the water will be evaporated, leaving the silver behind. Brooks Bradley has instructions (in the list archives) about how to make a nebulizer using an artists air brush supplied from an oxygen tank. Several people have reported great results with that setup. >BTY, I have also started making CS. How have you determined your's is 8 PPM? >Not knowing that for my home brew is troubling. The Hanna PWT meter (available from www.silvergen.com for about $50, among other places) will measure the conductivity of your CS -- and initial conductivity of your distilled water. Several members have provided their analysis of how to measure PPM using that meter (also found in the archives). Basically, if you have distilled water reading about 1 on the meter, you have 8 PPM when the meter reads 12 or so. BTW, don't inhale too much of the CS mist when it's too "thick" until your lungs get used to it. When I got a chest cold, I used the nebulizer and my chest seemed to "tighten up" for a few minutes. But the cold disappeared in a few hours. -- Dean -- from (almost) Des Moines -- KB0ZDF -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
