Hi Dean, Anne has a Devilbiss Pulmomate Compressor/Nebulizer. Sounds like it may be what you are talking about.
How did you arrive at a 12 PPM meter reading equating to a CS 8 PPM concentration correlation? Not a challenge - just interest. What if the PPM reading was 19 - what would be the actual CS PPM? Regarding your inhalation advice - before getting this email, I had Anne put 1 Tablespoon of CS in her nebulizer. For the past two days, her breathing had seemed to improve. However, about an hour after using the nebulizer, she said her breathing had suddenly gotten worse. Sounds similar yo your own experience. I just asked how she was doing, and she said she was doing better. For future reference, what is your opinion as to how much CS should she put into the nebulizer? Now I know you are not a doctor and you are only offering your personal non-expert opinion, and I appreciate it. So, when I ask a question like I just did, I do so with the understanding that I would not hold you liable for any misfortune that might happen. I have requested your opinion and recognize that is all you have given. I know I have the option of following, or not following that opinion. For anyone else reading this email who may offer their opinion, this disclaimer applies also to you. BTY, what do you mean when you said "don't inhale too much of the CS mist when it's too "thick" until your lungs get used to it." What is, in your opinion, "too much" and what does "thick" mean?
