 Hi

Have just been talking with a lady who is a naturopath about candida, and
she mentioned CS. She also said all the info she had read about it
suggested NOT to take it as a preventative long term as it kills intestinal
flora. I know this discussion has come up before, but I am wondering if
anyone has any actual proof this doesn't happen, or proof that it does.
Either way, I would like to know so I can make an informed choice as to give
 it as a preventative.

 Thanks

 Tracy

Tracy: A couple of months ago a conducted a survey of CS users on this forum
as well as other CS users directly known to those who responded. Overall, I
had 230 responses from people who have been using CS for an average of 2 1/2
years. Over 96% of this group suffered no side effects whether they used CS
every day or only when they were beginning to feel ill. The majority of the
remainder did experience some level of intestinal discomfort when they
attempted to use CS on a daily basis. Most either reduced CS intake (since a
significant number were taking a pint to a quart a day), stopped taking it
for a while, or simply noticed that their intestinal problems went away with
time. In any case, of those affected, I don't recall anyone complaining of
long term intestinal problems. Roger
