Chip,

I am not an expert like Frank, but have a thought to offer. There is a generic
PPM tester that measures the particles in water. For example, my tap water
measured 175 PPM. I asked my water company about that figure and he said it
was probably OK, as there are a lot of particles in drinking water. I then
measured some distilled water and it read 1 PPM. Subsequently, I measures some
CS I had made, and it measured 11 PPM. That would indicate to me that the CS
was 10 PPM, as there was nothing else in the water before I began the CS making
process. I asked a tech rep with the meter manufacturer and he said my
presumption was on target.

If you wish the URL for a place to buy one, email me at [email protected]. BTY, I
neither sell nor derive any income, from any source, from the sale of the PPM
test meters.

Hope this may be of help.

Steve
