Marijuana is also the most effective treatment for some types of Tourettes Syndrome. The drugs forced on the people, such as Halodol, turn them into zombies. I know of one high school student who was flunking because of the Attention Deficit Disorder which often accompanies Tourettes, and later because he was a walking zombie from the Halodol used to control the tics and ADD. He read that marijuana was helpful, and decided to try it. Apparently his grades shot up, and he was finally doing well in school, when he got caught with the marajauna and ended up going to prison.
