Hello List, The friend I earlier told you about, who had the leg wound and Diabetes, has a more serious problem. His kidneys seem to be failing and his body is retaining water. In the past few days, he has gained 22 pounds. The infectious disease specialist he saw today said he could heal his wound but it wouldn't do any good until his water retention problem is resolved. Until then, the fluids will continue to ooze from the wound because of the water pressure.
