Jon,

A nurse I was on the phone with when I read your message said it likely 
indicated a urinary tract infection.  She said you should take a sample to a 
lab.  She also said to call around to see if any labs in your area would do it 
without a doctor's referral.  Otherwise, you will need to visit your doctor.
