Dear Silver List, Greetings from Bangladesh, where we are working towards helping the poor to purifiy surface water, an alternative to the arsenic contaminated tube wells that plague this country. Can someone help us located a generator for concentrated CS? We are using this material to saturate earthenware filter candles (which are 6cms. diameter by 11 cms. height), subsequently fastened into purification systems. Our ideal concentration is 375ppm. but we are hopeful we could either dilute or evaporate where the ppm varies a bit from this.
Anyone interested in knowing more about earthenware purifiers could check out the two links below. Or I would be happy to answer any questions. We believe that eartheware purifiers may offer appropriate technology: effective, low cost, easy to use, and duplicable almost anywhere using red clay and common materials. It may be worth considering that somewhere in the world, someone dies of a waterborn illness every twenty seconds. Thank you.
