There used to be a product, perhaps named "Ivy Dry" which was a tincture of the leaf. You took one small vial today, one tomorrow, and one in 30 days. Not script at the time. It gave you a season of immunity. Although I was-probably still am---very sensitive to the stuff, I could roll in it after taking the course of tincture. Removing clothing and bathing thoroughly after exposure helps too. If you get it within a couple of hours, there is usually no effect.
