Steve,

My only success in this case is to have you believe that I had some input
other than just collecting and condensing Brooks posts in one place! The
credit belongs to Brooks and his inventive associates.

To answer your question (to my now revealed limitation), I can not think of
how CS in itself would compromise your wife's condition, unless it caused
prolonged coughing. Whether it would improve matters really depends upon
whether there is some pathogenic involvement or not.

It could be that penetration of the compromised tissue by CS would be
enhanced by the addition of DMSO as described, but this may cause the other
drugs she uses to be absorbed more readily...and cause problems, CS when
absorbed into tissue can have a regenerative effect, especially if
fibroblasts are involved.

However, might I suggest supplementation with vitamin D, especially if your
wife is indoors a lot, as this will improve the immune response and help
with autoimmune regulation (more info available if needed) and Alpha Lipoic
Acid which is a powerful antioxidant and regenerator of the cellular
scavenger Glutathione, and I am led to believe provides some protection to
lung tissue.

Hope this is of use.
Ivan.
