Hello Hope,
I make, sell, and use myself, a really simple 9 volt CS generator. I
think it would be difficult to overdose on CS. You are likely to drown
or waterlog the animal before endangering it with the amount of CS
given. 

With the 9 volt generator my instructions are to use for 3 to 5 minutes
per 250 ml (1 cup) with plain tap water or filtered water, and to use
for 40 to 60 minutes using distilled water. That is enough. Stronger is
not necessarily better and weaker will also work well.  Many in this
group say that constant stirring should make a better product.

The only way to really find the strength is to have it analysed. I'm
sure that if you contact Ole Bob at  "Robert L. Berger"
