Ivan: Well, since practically all CS contains both species, the fact that 
"ionic" silver seems to work does not get us any closer to answering the 
question at hand. On a coincidental post, I outline a test that should help 
answer this question. I would like to begin a debate on my proposal, and 
would appreciate any comments. And to all the nonscientific lurkers out 
there, don't worry if you don't have a technical background, just use your 
common sense in analyzing my proposal. Let's here from you as well! Roger
