On a pragmatic level, I tend to agree that, really, all that matters is that CS works, and let's not split hairs over a good thing. But I will say, what if it turned out that by making CS using a particular method (say, all ionic or all particulate, high voltage ionic, high voltage particulate, etc.) we found that we could increase the level of effectiveness by 10 or 20 times? Continuing research is, in my mind, a good thing. I do hope it can be done in a non-competitive spirit and minimize the response of the ego!
