No, I didn't think of vinegar. I'll try some Braggs ACV and see what happens. Since dmso draws in stuff - maybe it wouldn't be such a good idea to spray it on infected ears anyway?! I was thinking of that message from the lady with the kittens (forgot what she said the disease was) when she sprayed the spots, they spread all over the kittens.
Also, I've tried spraying my cats ears with a mix of cs and tea tree oil. They became very red and inflamed looking. Not sure if it was some sort of allergy or if it bugged him so much he just kept pawing at his ears causing them to become red. They look pretty good today - the redness on his ears have subsided, but he still has the sores inside. They haven't changed.
