I only recall a mention of one silver worker who had inhaled massive amounts of silver dust. It was in an EPA report on silver toxicity I believe. He developed minor argyria and hadn't had a cold or any illness in many years.

Ken & everyone else: Have you found any illness stats for silver workers in
mines or anywhere else? This type of info could be quite revealing with
regards to the possibility of contracting a silver related illness over the
long term -- a time period in which we have practically no data. Roger
