Colloial copper has the same germ fighting capabilities as colloidal silver and has been used to ionize swimming pool water [theory>] but since copper has a place in body chemistry, it can be more toxic at high doses and more easily chemically tied up, whereas, silver doesn't react as much, is freer to circulate and is more easily eliminated.
