Judith, Two things come to mind: (1) the use of a Rife technology device, and (2) ice. (1) I know a number of people who have been helped enormously with Rife style devices. Shingles, as you may already know, is caused by the herpes virus. Jim Bare, the inventor of an excellent Rife technology unit, says that for a very specific problem you need to get very specific in your course of action. Electrode units that the subject holds apparently work well (even though hardcore Rife aficionados say that the "real" Rife units are only the freestanding light tube units) because shingles comes out in the nerves on the surface of the skin. I have a friend who treated himself with a pads unit and his shingles went into remission about 90%. Of course, any type of Rife techology unit might be helpful. (2) The other treatment I heard about recently is ICE. For some reason, rubbing ice onto the affected area has provided not only relief, but seems to inactivate the virus. Good luck.
