For possible interested list members, there is an informative series (nine in number)of comparative-size photographs near the left-hand margin of page 34 in the Sept. 2001 Issue of Scientific American. The first photo illustrates a subject of 10 centimeters, contnuing in descending order to the last one (#9), which depicts a 1 nanometer section of a DNA strand.......absolutely fascinating (to me).....and especially recommended for persons encountering difficulty in imagining comparative microscopic sizes.....such as colloidal silver particles.
