.15 micron is 150 nm.  That is pretty large.

I don't think particle size is all that dependent on the method of
manufacture, but on the ppm.  Basically you can only put so many particles
in there, and if you try to put more, they simply aggregate into larger
particles.

That is because the equipment is expensive, and can be dangerous for making
HVAC CS.

Yes, usually yellow means slightly larger particle size than clear.
