How to get the PPM's you want

Dear Bob,

Are you a millionaire?!

Can an ordinary person actually purchase a photospectrometer in the States?

How much are they over there? and where do you buy?

Here in Zimbabwe we have to pay big for assays - ( and are lucky to have such a
facility!)

Hi Terri,
"Ole Bob" will make many on the list angry but here are the facts.

Without some type of current measurement and record keeping people don't know
what they are making. One must make seferal btches and have them tested so you
can plot the data and have reasonalbe assurance that you know what you are
making.

Several of the commercial people have automatic shut-off, but until you have
had it tested you cannot be sure as to what you are making. There is one very
good thing about CS and that is the ppm are not really that important, whether
it is 5, 10, or 15.
They all work so don't sweet it.

I am not a commercial vendor but I do sell to a few locals for $10.00 for 2
liters. The postage for that amount is about $8.50.
All of my CS is made by the HVAC ARTC method and the concnetration is 12 to 15
ppm by actual spectrophotometric measuremnt. I have one.
