They certainly seem alive to me, but I have seen some references to them not technically being alive, mainly based on their replication method, which consists of their assembly only with the help of a another cell of which they are a parasite. Other life reproduces by fission of some sort.
Bur the prions...has anyone looked at their structure to see what the potential for an Ag particle/ion/ rose by any other name to attach to a site an prevent replication? I encountered your pictures from the Rense site before seeing your mail about them. They are remarkable and mysterious. Thank you for the pictures and your analysis of their anomalies.
