Y'know, a wonderful basis for a FAQ would be a series of references to
important messages in the archive. If a message you'd like to see isn't
*IN* the archive, just post it!

It would have introductory remarks of your own or quoted from some
famous list owner or regular contributor... <GRIN>... followed by a
pointer to some basic generator design instructions:

<link to your choice of generator design instructions in archive>

Followed by some tutorial stuff on using the generator properly...

<link to your choice of recipe posting in archive>

Next would come your comments on use and doseage and maybe a few links
to testimonials or other goodies...

<link to testimonial>
<link to this thing>
<link to that thing>
<link to the other thing>

And finally, a link to some instructions on searching the FAQ for more
information on any specific thing they're interested in:

<archive mining instructions link>

And so on to a happy conclusion... reminding them to ask for help on
list if they need it at any time!

All the while the newbie gets LOTS of guided instruction and good info
without having to master the archive search engine or dig through 30000
messages and without the old-timers having to take the whole burden.

The question is, does anybody wanna do some archive mining and fill in
the blanks?

It's a thought.

Be well,

Mike D.
