Ole Bob,
Well said. A very wise friend here in South Asia said to me, "the only
people who do not have neurosis are the insane." I find this to be one
of the simplest yet most profound things I've heard in ages. Then I
read a book on neurosis which said that the best way to begin to
overcome it is by being very objective and deliberately open minded.
Still, considering one's particular background and education, it appears
impossible to be objective when under pressure and at all times. People
around the world have very different ways of seeing the same things.
