Hi Trem, The only reason that you have success with a PWT is because you have learned to control the DW and you have made many gallons of CS and have had numberous AA tests. That is not the case with the newbies. Not all DW from the same supplier is always the same. Fortunately I have an excellent source the normally runs 0.25 +/- 0.05 uS/ lcc. Today the received a new shipment and it chesks out at 0.16 uS/cc. that small change for the better does not affect anything but when some else bought the DW from the same vendor that their DW was made at a different part of the USA, his measured 30 uS/cc. That is a #1 disaster.
The best test to make CS is noting the inital current for ones setup. If they record that data and reject any thing much higher then there brews times will work otherwise they go out the window. I bougth one of those things several years ago and have since junked it, because the conductivity of CS can and does change without ionic silver changing.
