CSLovers, I want to relate an experience where my wife kicked a particularly virulent throat infection with CS, while traveling. I am all the more convinced because on four or five earlier occasions the same thing has happened. Work, home and planning pressures, leading upto a vacation or trip very often bring about these severe sore throats at the beginning of travel. Then she would get knocked out for five to seven days, or so, between the need for rest and the antibiotics.
This time we went to Nepal for a week, and I had fortunately prepped the entire family against any herxheimer effect. They had all taken a couple of spoons daily for two weeks. I took along with us a 200 ml. bottle of the ~170ppm CS I make here in Bangladesh, but this amount ran out within three days. (Until I get ppm tests run I won't have a true fix on correct dilution. Mixing 5:1 we may end up with about 30ppm). Having run out, fortunately I had taken along as backup two little, 15ml. bottles of Mexican CS, Biopur (at 1500ppm), and that finished off the cure. We used 24 drops to a 300ml. glass of water. After three or four days, sometimes missing a dose due to travel, whatever, the sore throat was gone! No antibiotic has ever done this more effectively, and my wife was in good spirits throughout, with no need to curtail any of the fun activities we had gone for. So now she's a convert! I will grant all that I am biased to the use of the concentrated varieities of CS, but I think this also has great potential in situations where a lot of travel is required. After all, one can hardly fly around with gallons. Best to all, Reid -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
