Wayne and other clever folks, What other DC power sources are to be found in our society that we could avail ourselves of when on the road, besides phone lines?
What about some kind of AC to DC rectified, voltage & current limiting device that could be plugged in to the wall where ever we go? Instead of buying a power source for brewing CS, how about a device that changes 120VAC to say, 50VDC? How hard would that be to do without a transformer? How safe would it be?
