One addition to my dog bite story. Upon re-reading, it sounded as if the big gash completely healed in 3-4 days. That is not correct. It closed in 3-4 days, but it took 14-15 days to fully heal and drop the scab, because it was so deep. But you can barely see the scar today, for the scar is a fine 1/16 line.
