Bone meal is a very poor source of calcium, the only reason for feeding it,
in any event. Because it has been cooked it is very bio-unavailable to dogs.
Ground, raw, organic, egg shells are a much better source of calcium if one
feels the need to supplement with calcium. Likewise all commercial,
processed, "dog foods" are the worst thing one can feed ones dogs. There is
no equal to fresh, raw, food. Dogs are carnivores. They need raw meat and
bones to maintain optimal health.
