Then go to a welding supplies store; they will sell you oxygen without any
papers at all. It is all the same stuff.

USP grade is not medical grade... although they are the same thing!!!! try
going to a medical store and buying "medical oxygen". I tried before going
to the USP grade... nobody would sell me any. *grins*

Hi Jason,

Are you in the US? Here no script is required for bottled O2. The stuff
sold for welding is USP; medical grade.

Roger:

I believe nebulizers can be sold without scripts because of themselves they
are NOT medical devices. Just like you don't have to have a script to buy a
medical certified oxygen tank. It's the oxygen you have to have the script
for, just as it is the drugs that are used in the nebulizer that require
one.

for $54.95.

List: The Omron nebulizer arrived just in time for help treat the beginning
of a sore throat (me), and incessant sneezing (my daughter). Sore throat
"scratchiness" disappeared permanently after a few hours. Daughter's
sneezing took longer to go away (12-24 hrs.) with several ups and downs in
between, but very decidedly many more "downs" than "ups". We like it a lot.
Question: How can they sell it without a prescription (THAT was the big
question from my physician daughter as well. BTW, she actually apologized by
flying off the handle about nebulizing CS -- good for her, but hasn't
changed her mind). Roger
