I think some of our list-member vendors are totally honest, and put truth
above profit. Especially the ones who offer independent laboratory culture
testing results of their products. Potential customers may wish to ask a CS
vendor for such data.

But the general caution "caveat emptor" is especially applicable to the CS
circus. How many yellow liquids has Bob tested with no Ag at all...

Sure, but if we find out you're a vendor of a competing product I'll
lock you in the dungeon.

Seriously, I'm content to see end users and folks with no proprietary
interest reporting on their results with commercial products. That's
all part of what people want to know.

Home-made can be quite good, and at least you know it's pure if you use
the right starting materials. However, not everybody is ready or
willing to start right off making their own, so we need to be able to
help them towards commercial products that are reasonably priced and
appear to be effective.

Certain commercial brands get good reports from users and some have
been independently tested in various ways. It's all valid information.
It's just not the sort of thing we can rely on the vendors for.

Be well,
