I am another who benefited from Cipro. First, I received a bad cat bite (yes...a bad cat AND a bad bite). Cipro took care of the infection. It was also prescribed to prevent infection when I had kidney surgery. Of course, I supplemented with CS. BTW, no side effects from Cipro, and I have not turned grey after 5+ years of CS use.
