I don't think that's true James. I'm sure Rosemary Jacobs is just as 
blue as the pictures show. The pictures in the NEJM article show her 
next to another person with normal skin tones for contrast, and holding 
a standard color correction card near her face. They're taken in 
daylight. It's not hard to believe the photography is faithful to 
reality.

The crucial inadequacy of her case is that she doesn't even know what 
kind of silver preparation she was taking that turned her blue, except 
that she is the victim of a *prescription* pharmaceutical product, not 
the kind of low concentration electrolytically made silver preparations 
we are experimenting with.

Let's not accuse Rosemary of anything other than being stubborn and 
bitter. She's not faking her condition.
