Thank you folks very much for your information about the jars and lids. A few more questions, then, off the top of my head:
1. I assume, from what I have read here, that it is okay to store the CS at room temperature in a cupboard, and it does not need refrigeration. Is that so? Do I need to take any special precautions WRT storage once it is made? And what about shelf life? 2. I am going to go to a couple of local coin shops looking for pure silver wire and/or rods. If I cannot find anything like that, I will eventually order wire/rods from an Internet supplier, but in the meantime, I would guess that I could buy small 1-ounce pure silver bars or 1-ounce silver coins and use them instead. I would then have to just clamp them to the sides of the jar somehow, or rig up a plastic lid with some sort of clamp. Any suggestions WRT clamps if I have to use a silver bar or coin?
