Terry,
I used to use ear candling for my itchy ears.
Somehow, my inner ear skin was sensitive, so that the heat from the smoke (or
was it the hot wax from the candle?)
would feel like it was burning inside of my ear. Youch!
Also, after a while, the wax from the candle (or was it from my ear?) DID
accumulate inside of my ear and I had to get the doctor to spray the globs out.
Never used ear waxing again and never had that kind of wax accumulation again.

  Goldenoakie9,
If I were in your shoes, I would try mixing one drop
food grade hydrogen peroxide (35%) into 10 drops CS
and putting a few drops of that into my ears. It will
fizz, may burn a bit. If too uncomfortable, wash out
your ear with water and try again, maybe after
  diluting it with more CS.

Also, Ear Candling sometimes produces amazing results.
