Terry, I used to use ear candling for my itchy ears. Somehow, my inner ear skin was sensitive, so that the heat from the smoke (or was it the hot wax from the candle?) would feel like it was burning inside of my ear. Youch! Also, after a while, the wax from the candle (or was it from my ear?) DID accumulate inside of my ear and I had to get the doctor to spray the globs out. Never used ear waxing again and never had that kind of wax accumulation again. Josephine
