Dear pj,
I can't tell you about the purity of your MSM, which very well might be
terrific. I just know there are two main US manufacturers of MSM--the one
on the west coast manufactures OptiMSM, and the one on the east coast
manufactures Lignisul MSM. Some distributors add fillers like silicon
dioxide or silica (sand) and/or vegetable magnesium stearate.
As far as eyedrops go, I don't know about the salt water, but this is what
I've read for CS and MSM: 1 oz. of CS to 1/4 teaspoon of MSM. "Supposedly"
MSM needs to be used within 3-5 days, after making it, or it will become
inert and loose its potency. I don't know if it's true, but it's what I've
been read.
