Apparently bottled Aloe Vera is pretty inneffective, owing to the release of an
enzyme during the crushing/juicing process that inactivates the stuff in short
order. At least so says "The Nugent Report", an audio tape by Dr Steve Nugent
on glyconutrients. His company Mannatech has a web site Glycoscience.com. This
link: http://www.glycoscience.com/glycoscience/start_frames.wm?FILENAME=H284A
contains a fair amount of interesting info. It seems for good effect, either
grow the stuff yourself - which in most climes is dead easy, or get their high
priced stabilised product.
