I heard that zinc does a similar thing -- which is why zinc lozenges work on
sore throats.

Dear Leacy, I read that silver is a catalyst, and when it contacts the
protein coat of the bug, it catalyzes it, popping the thing wide open. It is
dead, and can`t replicate, or get resistant.
