CS as well as ionic seem to be both beneficial. So there would not
necessarily be any loss of effect.  Just because it happens doesn't mean it
is a problem.  If it is stored for a long time after mixing, the odds are the
CS particles would grow sufficiently to precipitate out. But this is not a
problem is consumed quickly.

If you have 100% CS then there would be no effect at all.  If you have 100%
ionic the same might apply as well. One would expect that the ionic content
would decrease and the CS content would increase over time when mixed with a
developer.
