Hi all: Thanks for your replies to my questions. It will be a few more days before I make some more CS... I'm getting ready to go out of town for most of next week, then will make some when I get back for sure--with the new 12-gauge, .9999 silver wire I got from CC Silver.
When I got back today from doing errands, one jar had precipitate at the bottom, and the liquid was mostly clear. The other one is dark purplish. When I first made the batches, two of them were very light yellow, one was slightly darker, and the last one was quite dark. They were made at an approximate room temperature between 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Next time I won't cook it so long. Last time, I had intentionally cooked it past the time when gray swirls appeared in the water. I will not use this dark CS for starter, but will keep it for topical use. Thanks a bunch! You folks are great! Pam __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Find the one for you at Yahoo!
